It’s my niece and nephew’s birthday and we’re having a big bash, Mine Craft style! I’m excited to celebrate them with their cute little friends. Heck I might even spend more time with them than with the adults!
What I love most about being around children is that for a moment, I get to be a part of their world, see through their eyes of wonder and just be present. Not to mention all of the imaginative work we create together! That feeling of getting lost in your imagination, is soooo precious.
Being with my niece and nephew makes me to tap into that world again, where everything feels brand new. I remember being their age and all I wanted to do was create art, no matter what type of medium. I’m so glad I was stubborn enough to keep that love alive and go to The Art Institute where I became a creative professional.
I realized that I was fighting to keep that sense of wonder for as long as I can and for that, I’m so grateful that I’m a hard headed Taurus! (Good Lawd!)
But it’s allllll worth it because now, I get to share my passion with YOU! And that’s why today’s episode is about the creative process of designing your visual identity.
